Dmitry Khramov, Maria Khramova: “Milestones, stages (Italian Pietre miliari ) symbolize the border, stages and transition. This is a multi-layered and contextual project with different interpretations by the authors, which are embedded in the spatial and mental layers of the cultural landscape.
In this interpretation, the Milestones symbolize the transition from a real rough tactile grey old tree to virtual images of ideal trees, to ideal non-existent models of a dream tree or to the memories of each project participant".
